The new season features conversations with personalities from entertainment, business, ministry and public life, including Richard Mofe-Damijo, Johnny Drille, Ezinne Akudo-Anyaoha, Shawn Faqua, Simi Drey, Joy Ogbidi, Lara Kayode, Igbalaniyi Omoniyi and Ajibola Oluwalola. The series, which debuts on Emodi’s YouTube channel on July 31, 2026, explores themes of faith, grief, healing, marriage, motherhood, mental health and personal transformation.
DECISION HIGHLIGHT
Olive Emodi is broadening faith-based digital content by positioning personal testimony as a platform for wider conversations on resilience, mental wellbeing and contemporary social experiences.
DECISION MEMO
The second season of ‘At His Right Hand’ reflects a growing evolution in Nigeria’s faith-based media landscape, where storytelling increasingly intersects with emotional wellbeing, personal identity and lived experience rather than conventional religious programming alone.
By assembling voices from multiple professional backgrounds, the series expands its relevance beyond a traditional faith audience, using individual journeys to examine universal themes of loss, restoration, purpose and transformation.
Reflecting on the production, Olive Emodi said: “It let me see what God can do when you yield and obey.”
She added: “I was afraid of starting season two because season one stretched and refined me. But we went ahead, and this season exceeded my expectations. We cried, we prayed and we had an encounter.”
The programme’s emphasis on authentic personal narratives also reflects the increasing role of digital platforms in delivering values-driven content capable of engaging younger and more diverse audiences through conversation rather than instruction.
